SUPPORTING SURF ACTION
Surf Action is a registered charity whose core purpose is to focus on the well being and support of combat veterans and their families. We are a group, actively engaging veterans in Surfing that is truly building self-esteem and confidence.
Our Charity objectives are:
1. To promote and protect the physical and mental health and welfare of those who have been wounded whilst serving in the Armed Forces and civilian emergency services by introducing them to surfing and other peer group activities.
2. To assist veterans in adjusting to civilian life, including those challenged by mental and physical problems improving their quality of life.
3. To maintain a high level of care of veterans.
4. To build or restore, equip, staff and maintain a recovery centre for the care of veterans by veterans.
