Adam ‘Bearman’ Griffiths

A longstanding and valued member of the C-Skins team and a fixture on the UK surf scene, Bearman is best known for his grace, style and competitive achievements on a longboard. He’s a well-rounded waterman too though, much like many other members of our team, tackling big waves at The Cribbar when it breaks and searching out new big wave spots with tow partner Tom Butler, or working as a commercial rod and line fisherman from his small boat out of Newquay Harbour. Add in a young family and the multifaceted tourism business of Great Western Beach that Adam owns and operates (which includes a restaurant, café and surf school) and we have no idea how he finds time to sleep! But whilst surfing is now a release and recreation for Adam, when his local break of Fistral is firing Bearman will be putting on a clinic.
