Luke Dillon

Luke Dillon’s power surfing has earned the Newquay local the nickname, “The Ox”, and if you’ve ever paddled over the shoulder when he sets his board on rail you’ll understand why. A former 2x British champion and now passing on his knowledge as GB Surfing’s Performance Coach, Luke’s recently transitioned from competitive surfing to helping the best of Britain’s competitive surfers to work towards podium finishes and hopefully Olympic qualification. If North Fistral is on then you can be sure that Luke will be on it throwing buckets that can be seen from the car park, but he’s also partial to some of the South West’s off-radar slabs where he meets power with power and racks up his barrel time well away from an audience.
